Louis Vuitton now has a new brand ambassador worth with them; The Frech fashion house has tapped British actor Callum Turner as the new leading man. Before he way a prince, a wizard and a master of the air, Callum Turner was a model.
He previously featured in Runaway, High Fashion, and Louis Vuitton Spring 2009; with the London lad clad in an all-white ‘fit of Paul Helbers’ design. So, the decision to become an ambassador for the luxury stalwart feels like a 360-degree moment for the actor who’s just a whisker away from becoming a household name.
“Turner’s pursuit of excellence in his craft diversity of roles aligns with the house’s own dedication to exceptional craftsmanship and constant quest for innovation,” the brand revealed. “On and off the screen, he expresses a genuine and endearing charisma, while his elegant sartorial choices have earned him a notable stylistic following,” the statement added.
For the customary announcement shoot, Louis Vuitton kitted him out in its yet-to-release men’s spring/summer 2025 collection (his prop, a supersized Sakura shade Speedy) showcased in June at Men’s Paris Fashion Week. The Louis Vuitton SS25 collection is expected to release in January. For now, you can only be able to shop its pre-SS25 line and have a feel of what the luxurious brand offers.
“I’ve always loved Louis Vuitton from way back, and I truly enjoy the full circle part of joining the guys,” he revealed. Callum Turner says they are the kind of pieces he would wear for “going out”- a phrase we’re sure went over a few heads in Paris- but also “for every day.”
Callum Turner did also reveal his love for designer Pharrell who he says designs clothes that align with this style. “I love Pharrell in everything he does… His clothes are incredible, (and) the collection is fresh and cool and exciting.”
And when it comes to matters fresh, cool, and exciting, Gabriel Moses was the photographer on set, much to Turner’s delight. “It was nice to work with a fellow South London boy all the way in Paris. We had a lot of fun.”
The widely sought after British-Nigerian photographer is something of a Louis Vuitton ambassador himself, having shot several moments for the design and walked in the first show designed by the musician-turned-creative director. It seems that once a Louis Vuitton man, always a Louis Vuitton man.
