It was hailed by critics as well as audiences besides due to Really it ran without many major rival openings, the film has already eclipsed lifetime of No Way Home, which was a global box-office of around $1.9 billion, and emerged as the most successful Spider-Man film of all time and the biggest Sony Pictures film ever.

Even in its short run at the box-office, Brand New Day has surpassed its competition to a certain point. No film except Avengers: Endgame got to $2 billion in as few as 11 days. Brand New Day, by comparison, had to wait for roughly 17, 19 days from the beginning of the overseas rollout, but this is still a very fast time for such an amount to be made. The industry is watching this closely, and some are talking about it going on from there, the possibility of it reaching or challenging the record books of the top-grossing films, which will probably become the new benchmark as long as it plays in the cinemas in the weeks and months to come.

The blockbuster result reinforces not only that the character has lasting popularity around the world but that stories of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are still able to attract the masses.
