‘Overjoyed’ Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger Welcome Third Baby

The cat is finally out of the bag! Chris Pratt and wife Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt have announced the arrival of their third child, with a name that pays tribute to JFK.

Revealing the news in a joint Instagram post on Monday, the Guardians of the Galaxy star, 45, and the children’s book author, 34, shared that they welcomed their third baby-their first son- together on November 8.

“We are overjoyed to announce the birth of our son, Ford Fitzgerald Schwarzenegger Pratt,” the mother of three wrote in her caption. ‘Mama and baby are doing well and Ford’s siblings are thrilled by his arrival. We feel so blessed and grateful. Love, Katherine and Chris,”

Ford Fitzgerald Schwarzenegger Pratt’s middle name is in honor of Schwarzenegger’s great-uncle, the late President John F. Kennedy. The best-selling author, who is the daughter of Maria Shiver and Arnold Schwarzenegger, is JFK’s great niece.

The two lovebirds began dating way back in 2018 after being set up by Schwarzenegger Pratt’s mom. Maria Shriver. It only took a year for Pratt to announce on his Instagram account that he and Schwarzenegger were engaged.

“Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes!’ he wrote alongside an adorable photo of the pair. “I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!” The pair went on to tie the knot on June 8, 2019, and welcomed their first child, a girl, Lyla Maria in August 2020, followed by another girl, Eloise Christina, in May 2022.

Earlier this year, it was revealed that the best-selling author was expecting baby number three- and the couple notably waited until the birth of their child to find out the gender.

After the baby news came to light, Katherine was spotted showing off her growing baby bump on various outings and on social media. Back in July, the daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger flashed a cheerful smile as she flashed her burgeoning stomach in pair of pink, gingham overalls.

In October this year, Schwarzenegger Pratt shared an adorable Instagram photo of Eloise, dressed in a pink dress, matching sneakers, and a white cap with “Big Sis” embroidered in pink. “Big sis loading…” the proud mom captioned, as the family eagerly awaited the arrival of their newest addition.

Now that she is a proud mom of three, Katherine will surely not have a problem leaning on people around her for help and support in raising her little ones.
