Julia Fox Goes Topless at Cannes 2023

Regarding fashion risk-takers, few people do it better than Julia Fox. The diva recently put her bold-bizarre fashion sense on full display as she wore an ultra-daring outfit to mark her presence at the Cannes Film Festival 2023. The “Uncut Gems” actress went topless (almost) and teamed a see-through corset top with a voluminous skirt to make the biggest impression at the event. The sculptural glass-like top was held up by a clear piece of string, freeing her nipple and revealing her belly button, while the billowing white skirt was made out of bed sheets. The ethereal ensemble was designed by up-and-coming Parsons School of Design alum Liwen Sang, who told Page Six Style that the look was her 2023 graduate collection.

The actress has long been a fan of thin pieces, but this one was undoubtedly the boldest of her many risky ensembles. The 33-year-old left little to the imagination as she stepped out in Los Angeles in the head-turning outfit. She paired the dramatic top with knee-high boots and carried a clutch with silver chained details. The beauty complemented her look with a pair of futuristic shades and chunky earrings. Her hair was down and partially colored a silver-gray tone to match her outfit.

While it’s not the first time Fox has opted for a transparent look, her latest outfit is her boldest one to date. In March, she sported a black mesh dress almost entirely sheer and adorned with silver chains. In September, she also pushed the envelope for fashion when she sported a shower curtain-esque minidress and boots made out of plastic wrap to a Harper’s Bazaar event.
