Rosie O’Donnell’s Estranged Daughter Handed Shock Sentence After Arrest on Felony Drug Charges

Rosie O’Donnell’s estranged daughter Chelsea was sentenced after being arrested on multiple drug related charges. The 27-year-old was sentenced to just six years’ probation during a hearing on Monday in Oconto, county, Wisconsin and faces a possible jail sentence if that probation is violated.

Chelsea was arrested three times between September and December, starting with a Sept. 10 arrest on multiple felony charges including neglecting a child and possession of methamphetamine. She posted bail and was eventually released, only to be re-arrested a month later on several more felony counts including bail jumping, resisting or obstructing an officer, and possession of methamphetamine.

She was arrested in November for a third time on similar felony counts, possession of methamphetamine, bail jumping and possession of narcotic drugs, and appeared in court in Wisconsin, March 31 related to the charges.

Chelsea was handed two years’ probation for each count, and two additional charges- a felony count of narcotic drug possession and misdemeanor count of drug paraphernalia possession- were dismissed.

Chelsea Belle was represented by the attorney Brad Hansen, and has been granted the right to appeal her sentence. Not to mention, she was awarded a 33-day credit for jail time served. She could face prison time should she violate any of the probation requirements.

The conditions of the mom of four’s probation include sobriety, no possession of alcohol or another controlled substance without a valid prescription, no contact with any known drug users or sellers, and no possession or ownership of any firearm.

Chelsea also has to get a high school diploma or GED, and complete a full mental health evaluation, per the court records. The criminal case against Rosie’s oldest daughter is now closed.

In the meantime, Rosie remains out of the country as she revealed in a March 12 TikTok that she and her 12-year-old Clay have relocated to Ireland amid President Donald Trump’s re-election. After Chelsea’s two initial arrests in September and October, the former talk show host, 63, said in a TikTok that the legal trouble “is not new for our family” and thanked her fans for “their kind words and wishes about Chelsea.”

Chelsea Belle was born on Sept. 20, 1997 and adopted by O’Donnell and her ex-wife Kelli Carpenter when she was a baby. The couple raised her until 2015 when at 17, she ran away from home and later moved to Wisconsin to live with her birth mother.
