Rihanna and ASAP Rocky Welcome Their Second Child

Rihanna has given birth to a baby boy, her second child and first with rapper A$AP Rocky. The music megastar and beauty entrepreneur became a mother for the second time at the start of the month, entertainment outlet TMZ reported Monday. According to sources, her new son was born on August 3 in Los Angeles. The couple also has a 1-year-old son together, RZA Athelston Mayers. The pair first announced the pregnancy during her Super Bowl halftime performance in February.

The singer and the testing rapper have been spending much time together over the past few months, traveling the world and showing off their envy-worthy maternity style on red carpets, social media, and beyond. Rihanna, 35, and A$AP, 34, reportedly love being parents and are thrilled to welcome the newest addition to their family.

Rumors swirled that the “Diamonds” singer was expecting again for quite some time, and she finally confirmed her second pregnancy in February, just in time to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show. During her set, the sexy singer performed a medley of her greatest hits while sporting a red jumpsuit and an Alaia coat open at the front, offering a peek at her growing belly.

As soon as she stepped off the stage, she was congratulated by her fellow musicians and fans, her beau and co-parent A$AP Rocky. The following day, the pair attended a Chanel event in Paris, where they were spotted together holding hands and laughing. Later that month, they were spotted shopping in the city’s famed department store, igniting speculation that they may be shopping for a little sister or brother for their current bundle of joy.

Later that year, Rihanna opened up about her second pregnancy in a touching Red Carpet interview with ET, revealing how the experience differed from the first time around. She recalled that her body changed quickly, and she struggled to keep up with her hectic schedule as a mom.

The star gushed about the importance of her role as a mom, as she explained that the most important thing is to “just be yourself.” She also shared that she and her partner have a special bond regarding being fathers, and they plan on taking their role seriously.

The two don’t have any immediate plans to debut their newborn, TMZ reports. However, shortly, Rihanna and A $ AP will share photos of the kiddo on Instagram or through her Clara Lionel Foundation.
