Numerous outlets are reporting that Jonathan Mayors and Meagan Good got married Tuesday, March 18. Editors at Entertainment Tonight claimed the Lovecraft Country actor and the Stomp the Yard actress recently tied the knot ‘small private wedding’ at their Los Angeles home.

Good, 43, and Majors, 35, allegedly got hitched in front of their mothers. The insider told the news outlet that Majors’ mother, who is a pastor, was the officiant and Good’s mother were the witness. Only the four family members were present for the ceremony.

Majors and Good were first seen together in May 2023 heading to a movie at Alamo Draft house. This was around the time Majors was bound to appear in court for assault and harassment of his previous partner, Grace Jabbari. The ‘Harlem’ star had her diamond ring on full display as she walked the red carpet with her fiancé.

Majors was then sentenced to a Batterers Intervention Program in April 2024. Amid the court case, the California native was dropped from a couple of upcoming film projects and ordered to serve a 52-weekk domestic violence intervention programme. Good was previously married to pastor Devon Franklin for nine years until calling its quits in December 2021. They finalized their divorce in June 2022.

He and Good made public their engagement at the EBONY Power 100 Gala in November of that same year. Majors was full of praise on Good for her support during his domestic violence trial, comparing her to Coretta Scott King.

And reflecting on his relationship with the Think Like a Man Star in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight to promote his new drama, Magazine Dreams, the 35-year-old described her as ‘my best friend.’

“She just motivates me so much, she guides me, and I guide her. I think Meagan and I do a good job of dealing with each other where we’re at. You don’t know anyone until you’ve been through all the seasons with them,’ he stated.

“You’re on cloud nine; it’s all rolling in. You aren’t got nothing. You’re crying on the couch. She’s seen me in every spot. After his conviction, Good explained that her entourage, “actually tried to encourage me not to be with him” when they first got together.

“He wanted to protect me,” she revealedin July 2024. “I was like, ‘My love, first of all, you’re dealing with a Black Leo.’ And also, I grew up in this industry. The things that I’ve been through gave me the bandwidth to love other people, regardless.”
