Jennifer Lawrence Expecting Second Child

Hollywood star and American actor Jennifer Lawrence is all set to add a new member to her family. A representative for the actor confirmed that the 34-year-old actress is pregnant with her second child. The No Hard Feelings actress showcased her baby bump on a recent outing with her husband, Cooke Maroney. The couple is also parents to a two-year-old son called Cy.

Lawrence, known for starring in movies like The Hunger Games, X-Men, and Passengers, married art gallerist Maroney in October 2019. The actor has recently been active on social media, sharing photos of her family vacationing in New York City. She recently celebrated Labor Day with her husband, walking around Manhattan and enjoying a meal at The Met. The couple also made their marriage official by visiting the Manhattan Marriage Bureau on Sept 16, according to Page Six.

While the Oscar winner has been busy with her family life, she is still exploring her career behind the camera. The actress has been working on a pair of documentaries through her production company, Excellent Cadaver. One of them is Bread and Roses, which centers around three women who live under Taliban rule in Afghanistan. The other one is Zurawski v Texas, which sheds light on the state’s strict abortion laws.

The movie will highlight the experiences of several women who have to choose between their health and the lives of their unborn babies after the Supreme Court decides to overturn Roe v. Wade in 2023. Former first lady Hillary Clinton executively produced the film, and Lawrence herself has spoken out about the importance of abortion access.

In a recent interview, Lawrence opened up about her experience with motherhood, saying she suffered a miscarriage in her early 20s. The star went on to say that she then conceived her son Cy after marrying Maroney. She also spoke about how she wished to keep her child’s private life more private and that her husband has greatly supported her decision.
